Does all brands of RAM will run dual channel ??

can anybody answer me. does all brands of RAM will run dual channel ??

my laptop already has 4gb ddr3 1600mhz Samsung RAM in it. i want to upgrade it to 8gb (2x4gb) since my laptop is APU processed.

if i buy another samsung RAM with the EXACT SAME specs like the existing one, and put it in the second slot, will it run in dual channel?? (cause y'know buying one samsung stick is cheaper than two corsair/gskill)

and does it need to be 'kit' to run dual channel? (one package with 2 sticks in it)﻿
