If I wrote kilometers on a test, would that be wrong?
The answer is in volume
Height is not measured by volume.Meters AND kilometers are both measures of distance, so either could be used to measure height above sea level.
it doesn't matter if you are using Kilometers, meters, or feet. It's really up to you. There is nothing wrong with it.
