In my house, we use towels as mop on the floor to keep the house clean, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Can I wash those dirty towels in the washer? We have been washing them by hand cause we would like to only wash "cleaner" clothing in the washer. But I am just getting tired of it. What do you think?

It's normal to wash very dirty fabrics in a separate load, but still the same machine. I hope you know to use less soap in the not-so-dirty loads, like about half of what it says on the bottle. You can get TSP at any hardware store and it will help a lot in laundry. A TBSP is enough.
Probably because I always feel like the tiny germs can hide inside the washer and get onto the next loads. The same reason people would think water in a toilet is undrinkable, although being rinsed. I am a bit a clean freak.
Mind your manners. Things are only obvious to people who have already learned them. These days it might be very difficult for a young person to learn what we consider general knowledge.
Thank you.
