It currently has 115,198 votes on it, and it has only been out 1 week. Other movies, which have grossed more than Interstellar, such as Godzilla and X-Men didn't reach that many votes until several weeks in to their release. Those movies made $90 million in their first weekend, while Interstellar made $50 million, so clearly more people went to to see those other films. So how did Interstellar get so many votes? Also odd, is the fact that 85,025 males have voted, while only 11,394 females have. I would expect most movies about space to attract more males, but the difference between those 2 divisions is much too great. ALSO 85,025 + 11,394 = 96,419. And Interstellar is not even #1 at the box office, Big Hero 6 is, and Big Hero 6 only has 6,750 votes! Conspiracy?
