At my university, we have to pay for parking. At the library, there are only two meters that you can pay at but there is an app where you can pay to save yourself from the hassle. I went to the library yesterday and planned to pay on the app, but it said I did not have to pay, that I could park for free. When I got back to my car, I got a ticket for 25 dollars. I never look at the signs by the meters (cause I don't pay there) but I went to where they are and there was a sign that said parking on weekends is 5 dollars.
I don't mind paying for the ticket, but damn, I feel wronged. If the school is advertising that paying on the app is more "convenient," they should have made sure their rules for the weekends are also applied to the app. Am I wrong for not wanting to pay for the ticket? Do you think I could plead my case?
