You are speaking code words that do not have reliable meanings. For example a solar clothes dryer is a rope. Solar air conditioner is a tree. You can reduce your utility bills more by good insulation than you can by "solar energy", whatever that might mean. "Renewable energy" is even less certain about meanings. "Good investment" depends on business conditions and company details, not on slogans about "solar" and "renewable".
