I prefer warm weather. The downside is, you get bugs and you have a risk of heat stroke if you don't drink enough water and eat enough of the right foods. But you don't need to worry about snow or ice, and you don't have to worry about losing a limb from hypothermia if you are in warm weather. I live in Nevada. There's a wide range of climates from cold to hot. Obviously I'd rather live in the slightly hotter areas.

I prefer warm sunny weather for the increased freedom of activities, such as hikes, beach trips, barbecues, even car maintenance is better outside with all that extra space & fresh air. I also like the sunshine for our PV solar electric generation cutting our Emissions and bills!
Of course its only enjoyable when in balance with rain & not causing droughts. Without variety how can we appreciate what is good?
“We have always known that hotter weather increases the risk of heart attacks—but now we know that cold weather too. Most of us would agree with you but hot and cold weather are beneficial for life.

that's why you move closer to the west coast states. like Nevada or California. The worst you get in Nevada is earthquakes and some flooding once in while. Our fires can get pretty big but we have excellent Firemen. A friend of mine is a volunteer firemen.
