If so what do you do to not feel as shitty?
Yesterday I celebrated my birthday with some friends and people I know from school at a bar and got a bit too drunk, so of course I ended up being very annoying, talkative and quite clingy. Today I feel sad and anxious. I really don't want to go to school tomorrow and see all the people I've annoyed.
I drink a lot of water and I don't get too drunk. I can still walk and talk but I end up doing stupid stuff, you know. Not really offending anyone but more like being annoying if that makes sense.
Do you experience emotional hangovers ?

Drinking too much alcohol can result in lowered inhibitions.
Under the deceptive influence of alcohol, thoughts and desires that we normally suppress can begin to seem quite acceptable—if not inviting. Our resolve to stick to what is right can be weakened. Alcohol can undermine our moral defenses,
“In the end [alcohol] bites like a snake and poisons like a viper.” (Proverbs 23:32, New International Version) Medical science has confirmed the wisdom of that ancient proverb. Alcohol in large quantities is a potentially lethal toxin that can lead to various cancers, alcoholic hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, pancreatitis, low blood sugar in diabetics, fetal alcohol syndrome, stroke, or heart failure—to name but a few consequences. And even one instance of overdrinking or bingeing can result in coma or in death. The most serious consequences of overindulgence, though, are not described in medical textbooks
