I do not believe in any god and I think that people who do are slightly insane but not insane enough to be locked up as their insanity is relatively harmless.. unless they belong to the westboro baptist church or the jehovahs witnesses or any of the extreme muslim or islamist groups. At the end of the day religion just gives people a reason to hate and kill and be intolerant of others.
What the hell are you two squabbling about? You're both acting like insane freakshows so why don't you take a deep breath and CALM DOWN?!
The God who is revealed in the bible is a God of truth who cannot lie. ( Titus1:2 ). Many people have misrepresented God and the bible in an effort to support their own desires. ( 2 Timothy 4:3 ). Because of this there are now around 38,000 denominations who claim to be Christian. These different denominations all claim to base their beliefs on the bible, and represents the true God, yet their claim stands only because most people don't know what the bible really teaches. If you want to learn what the bible really teaches and prove to yourself that we can believe what God has told us, than I suggest you read the book "What does the bible really teach". You can download one at jw.org. look under the publications option to find it.

That is charming, I assume you missed me with this first barb. I ask you to look at the answer given below, in my answers comments.
The fact is I have never "crammed" not even at University, I find these negative comments quite unchristian, what would Jesus say to you if he were to read your comments?
As a Rabbi , I'm pretty sure he would tell you to convert to Judaism, after all only the 12 tribes of Israel are getting in, they are all Jewish.
The magical sky wizard myth is ridiculous and should faded away long ago, we are rational and growing as a species but religion is holding us back, this superstition is being taught to children to prolong it's influence.
The message is OK, "be nice to each other", but the delivery system and distance from the original teachings mean that today it is judgmental and overbearing.
If Jesus was real and here today he would not recognize any of it and would probably ask why everyone hasn't converted to his religion, Judaism.

No, I have plenty to say, it seems you are the one bringing a single sentence to this, that sentence doesn't relate to anything I have said or query any of my points made.

As for the second comment "Rubbish", I feel it is exactly that, the things I have said to the first commentator of my answer is doubly true for you. A single word? Surely you can stretch as far as telling me what it is that you disagree with? Unless you lack the wit.
Yes, I believe in God. At times I have struggled with my faith and questioned the world around me. But each time I've been at my lowest, I have seen God be faithful to me and even though life has been really tough, the one constant in my life is God. The way I see it is if God doesn't exist then the world would make no sense and the world would be far more scarier than it is.
This is a very controversial topic, any many people are closed minded about religion, do I believe in God? or in a God? In an essence yes I do, I'm not a big fan of how he operates. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and to you Christians it would do you well to not criticize those who don't believe in the same God, your only mission here is to direct them, and show them if they do not believe, leave it to God, your job is complete, and it is the same for other religions as well. And for those who don't believe in any religion. We all shouldn't be so closed minded, instead learn to accept others, you can always try pushing your ideas, but if they don't accept you are not obligated to change them. Think about it this way... if a so called believer believes when he dies he will go to heaven a paradise, and a so called atheist believes we go into nothingness after we died. Well lets just theoretically say both of us experience what we thought would happen when we die, the first person living in paradise, and the other in nothingness. But these topics are so controversial it's nauseating.
I'm sorry if you can't see that belief in a god is a form of insanity that is just socially accepted.. ah well. I feel sorry for you, maybe one day you'll realise but in the mean time you're free to do whatever you want, go to church, pray, whatever. Just remember to show a little curtesy too people who don't believe because they are showing a lot more in putting up with you people who do.
