I think there are good and bad Iranians just like there are good and bad Americans. I think it is the Iranian Government that is more of a threat to the west and the east than it's people.
Yes, Iranian culture, food and manners are very interesting to me. When something is different to my own culture I'm always keen to learn from that difference. :)
