Can someone please put forward some logical evidence that they don't? I have a friend who is sure that she's a demigod after reading Percy Jackson because she had a dream she was. She's going crazy and even offering burnt offerings. She's bought many different meats and fruits to burn. Very frustrating!

I understand that you may feel frustrated. I happen to be Hindu, Buddhist, and Christain. I pull out different attributes from each one of my religions, all in all, God is God. "All religions are true I just want to love God."- Gandhi. You should try and support your friend, clearly, she loves God. Although I do not believe in demigods and such, she is not harming anybody:) Best of luck!
If many gods (as opposed to one single God) existed, in particular Greek mythological gods, they would be competing with one another and cause choas in the world as we experience it. Whereas the universe is a complete, unified and beautiful harmonious creation. The choas on this Earth is the human race. If she thinks she is a god, ask her to make the sun rise from the West. Pharoah thought he was a god, this challenge was made to him. The Japanese emperors also allowed themselves to be considered gods until they lost the Second World War.
And give her a different book to read. Why not the Quran for starters...
Ellie, why are you on my account anwering questions? I told you to not answer any when i was gone. And no you have not. I am so sorry to whoever posted this question.
I doubt that. You'd be dead if greek gods existed and I can prove it. Acording to myth, many of the so called"gods" would be angered if anyone didn't sacrifice to them often resulting in floods, droughts, famines and disiaster. I doubt you've been sacrificing to the gods. Apparently artemis killed several people because they did not give her an apple
her father left her at birth or something weird
