I found a injured squirrel about 3 yrs ago, took him home and nursed him back to health. I got attached to him and didn't want to let him go, I kept him as a pet for almost 2 years. Someone talked me into letting him go so he could be free. Feeling bad I did, he stayed outside my house in a tree and let me feed him everyday. One day he disappeared I just assumed the worst. Its been almost a year and I just seen him, i know it was him because he didn't run away he just kept getting closer and staring at me when i called his name. But he wouldn't let me touch him. Is it possible he remembered my face, or my voice? If he did why wouldn't he let me touch him? He used to run down the tree and jump on my shoulder when I called him before.
