I write lyrics all the time, i put alot of thought, time and effort into them, its become a ongoing hobby of mine. Recently i've been imagining the idea of having my lyrics used in the form of book, or maybe on the kindle market; i would love to own a book of my words as i am proud of most of the lyrics i've written. Most of them are quite poetic so i thought i might try putting them up on amazons kindle market. But i'm unsure wether i should pursue it because do people even care about lyrics? I mean they are just personal thoughts and views on things just written in a poetic way. I think my lyrics are good and i don't mind sharing them but i'm a little worried that they will turn out to be bad (if i choose to do something with them).

Yeah i understand what your saying but without music can people still enjoy reading lyrics? I mean try finding a book of lyrics that isn't the lyrics of a famous artist like the Beatles or Elvis Presley etc.
Yes of course thay can, it's just given a different name, it's called poetry.
Thanks for the response i didn't think anyone would reply. I'm leaning towards doing it but i'm still unsure.
