Do most chinese gods have pets?

I could only remember quite few of them (of course in stories) have 'pet', but most of them only use those 'animals' or wired look things as a ride. If you are specifically asking about 'pets' like you can play with on the sofa when watching TV, I really can't recall any of them has something like that
