I want to do a science experiment about how microbeads in toothpastes and soaps effect the environment. In these products there are Microbeads, which a small plastics. When cleaning the water, some of these Mircrobeads are not taken out and go to the ocean. Fish eats these plastics and get killed over time. Other animals that eat these fish would have the plastics in them too. I want to know if plants get affected by microbeads in anyway?
