I have recently had a house exchange there were inspections before we each signed the new tenancy agreements and I was told there was no damage to fix but after we signed the new tenant gave up her agreement and moved and they did another inspection saying there was damage and I have to pay as she never moved in. So do I have to pay?
Do I need to pay charges for my old flat after the new tenant signs?

well if she didn't move in to the place and did she sign anything saying she was going to take over if you were still on the lease and it didn't change you should get the facts at landlord tennant laws you might be able to find something there on the web site i would look into this as soon as possible are they so broke they can't figure out what their doing you shouldn't have to pay if she moved in the place then turned around and left something wrong with that picture
