I have a tendon problem, and it is extremely difficult for me to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Do I wait until it is resolved before applying to jobs? (I do not know how long it will be) Should I apply and inform the employer of the issue? If I need surgery, I will be absent for a little while during recovery.

Hi ! However you have been taking care of yourself in paying your bills and buying your food is the best thing for you to do until you have your surgery ! Once you have had your surgery and it was successful for you and your able to get a job then do so ! If your employee asks you if you have any physical restrictions then tell them about your surgery , other wise do not tell them about this surgery ! Thanks
