Few days ago I sold a lady Samsung phone in craigslist. Its brand new, no broken or damage. She tested before she bought it. But I advertise as "Unlock phone" I thought it was unlock. Because I bought the phone from my provider for my son's gift. But he never interested to use as phone. So we never activated or connected to currier. So I thought it is unlock. But it was not unlock and buyer msg me and " its not unlock I want the refund. Or give me the code number to unlock". So I asked her that it was my misunderstanding. So If the phone is same condition as when I gave to you, I definetely give back all the money to her. , or if you want to keep the phone, and I go with her and pay for all unlocking fee. Its up to her. I gave her the choice. And she responded me " its all good. Set the time for unlocking please" . so we both agreed to meet the unlocking store at the time. But she never showed up. So I msg her and asked her many many times where she was. And after 40 mins from original meeting time. She msg me and told me that she was babysitting. So " wait there. I'll be in 20 mins. So I waited then never showed up. She admitted that she was late from supposed to meet and I waited extra 2 hours for her. But never came. And now she said Its fraud she wants the refund. I agreed that I misunderstood and caused problem. So I gave her choice either refund or unlock. And she chose unlock. But never showed up. Then while I was waiting her it costed $10 for parking fee. I have all conversations emails and texts with her. She has the phone for 5 days now. And she kept emailing me I'm scam. And start talking and using wards very races. I gave her choice and she never showed up even after 2 hours from original agreement time. What do I have to do to solve this problem? She msg me like 50 emails a day and using very not nice wards.

You did list the phone as unlock and she purchased it later to find out that it wasn't unlock. That could be a form of false advertising. She did also agree with you to meet to have the phone unlock. Just keep all the messages you have from her. Send her a nice email. If you can, snapshot the message that she agreed with you on unlocking the phone and send it to her. Tell her you waited hours for her and that costed you money for parking. You went out of your way to help and try to fix this situation. Seems like your customer is just immature and dumb. Threaten her and tell her you will take the matter to court for her harassment, but also mention that you tried helping her and if you want to help her tell her she has one chance to show up to fix the problem or send her money so she can go do it herself. That's about the only option you have. I would not give her the refund because it her fault for not showing up when you tried to help her at your best.
The worst she can do to you is take you to small court claim. Which in my opinion is a waste of her time since she has to apply for the court date which cost money. You have plenty of evidences against her. Small claim court case is more like judge Judy. The judge look at cases like these with morals that good people have. She would decide decisions base on her morals and judgement at who is the bad person here. Who is causing trouble? Who provoke it? You should be fine so don't worry. Most judges take rascism serious too. She would be an idiot anyways to take you for a small court claim. She wouldn't win, and it would cost her it the end. That would piss me off too for the racism also. I'm asian too. She's just jealous that Asians have high IQs. I wouldn't stress about it.

Yes. Some comments she said was not very nice and fair. Its pretty sad that some people still use racism to ptotect themselves or make things right what they are saying, they thinks! or who knows. Thank you so much for your advise. Yes. I did something wrong at the first place as misunderstanding and wrong advertizing. and I tried to fix the problem either refund or pay for unlock. She agreed to unlock with me and I have email to show that she agreed. But in her mind, she didn't show up, so she didn't get unlock plan, so she should get refund. I'm not sure by law how works. I am not scammer. I did what I had to do to fix the problem. Because my misunderstanding caused the lady problem. It was my mistake. But I can't control that she didn't show up. And It costed me for parking for 2 hours. I just don't want to take this problem to wrong way and cause me more trouble over just the phone. But i also have some rights here i thought. she start talking to me about racism like she never should buy from Asian. I responded nice emails to explain every time she sent me rude emailed and i tried to solve problem. But after the racism comment. I stop responding. But still she sending me rude emails.
