I was playing a soccer game today. I was pushed to the ground and landed on my back and hit the back of my head. It wasn't too hard and the coach took me out for the rest of the game. I have a very mild headache. Do you think I have a concussion? I don't have any common symptoms like vomiting, nausea, or dizziness. If a headache persists should I see a doctor?

I am not a doctor, but I am an athlete who has seen many people get concussed. If your headache persists, or you experience any of the following symptoms, I would suggest seeing your doctor: irritability, sleep issues, sensitivity to light, or concentration problems. Concussions are very serious and it's better to be safe than sorry. If not allowed to heal properly, it can affect you for the rest of your life.
