i have a girlfriend and i know she likes me but currently i was jobless for 2 months is it possible that my girlfriend tells me she dont like me so that i could better myself and work towards giving us a future

thats the case in sum instants but not for every one i would also say if he is telling him this mabe because of saying that she doesn't the girl might not like you defend yourself  wether you are around or not  better yourself towards your future
