My cat and I moved in with my dad for a year. Six months ago I moved out and my dad offered to keep her for a little while because I couldn't have her where I was living. He has a cat of his own and two dogs, and I am afraid to take her back because I don't want her to be lonely. I miss her and want to bring her home, but don't want to devastate her. I'm not sure how attached cats become to other animals and if this is a legitimate concern or if I shouldn't worry and just go ahead and move her.
Do cats become attached to other pets? I want to take my cat back but don't want to make her lonely?

Personally, we used to have 2 cats. And yes, they get along. As matter of fact, I remember that time when the older cat passed, our other cat was not herself. I mean, she wasn't that active anymore. She doesn't play that much. There was even one time when we brought her to the propertiesanimalclinic.com, her vet told us that they too, could get lonely. The decision is all in your hands. Can you give her a visit often?
