When Fl was under state of emergency by governor Scott and the hospital activated the hurricane disaster team A and B. We were informed the staff would be paid disaster pay. Now this hospital refuses to pay their employees what they had stated prior to the hurricane. Is this legal? Or is this hospital required to pay disaster pay to those employees that responded and clocked in?
