Hello there, I came to India via vancouver-beijing-delhi on (air canada-air china-air china) on march 20, 2012. My origional return date was scheduled for sept 18 2012, but as I have recieved news that my grandmother is failing, I have been trying to change my ticket, but am being charged outrageous amounts (400-500 dollar differences)..... does anyone have any super cheapand fast alternative? I heard somewhere that I can wait at the airport at the travel desks for flight cancellations. How does this work? Does anyone know why they charge so much difference for changing the ticket? (last time I changed a ticket it cost me 200 usd... now its more than double.. why?)
Thanks for reading this and maybe trying to help me answer this

Firstly, It is really regrettable to know your situation. If I have to charge something like that, then, definitely, it would be troublesome.
Definitely, there is a way. You may visit flighttickets.net.in. They are neither agent nor the airlines company.
In this website you can easily compare prices for the same destination. And for that, you can get the cheapest one.
From this website, you can easily book ticket even at the eleven hour.
And for this whole process you need not pay a single penny.
