I am researching a career in Forensics... I would love one that dealt with psychology, but I am unsure if forensic psychology is what I want. I love the idea of a Criminal profiler, but I don't really want to work in a police station. I need to know the differences and job descriptions of a forensic science technician, forensic scientist, forensic psychologist and forensic pathologist. Is it possible to be one of the aforementioned, and a criminal profiler?
Difference between Forensic science technician and forensic scientist?

Usually a Forensic Scientist is a higher position than Technician, also, if you're looking into being a Criminal Profiler, you're probably not going to be a "Forensic Scientist". I would recommend getting a Master's in Criminal Psychology, then joining the FBI. They'll give you the rest of your training.
