Did we need maths to become software engineer?

A computer software engineer apply the principles of engineering, computer science, and math skills to design, develop, and test software. First, they need to know the users' needs. Then, they will design, develop,test, and maintain the software according to the users' specifications. Engineers are often math enthusiasts who got bored with the abstract. Even though number crunching is significant to engineers’ work, math is no more than a convenient means to arrive at a physical end.
