Did the passenger cabins on the Hindenburg airship have locks fitted to the doors?

Of course they did . The Hindenburg was filled with a highly flammable gas and when it bumped the tower it ignited from a spark called static electricity.A few moments later it was over...Many people including ground crew members that held to ropes fell to there death .A horrible disaster that couldn't be avoided

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the passengers were given keys to their cabins, as in a hotel? From the photographs, the cabins look more like compartments on sleeper trains, which would do not generally have keys. I'm researching life on board ship rather than the disaster.
