Did the Greek Goddess Artemis live alone?

I personally don't believe in the Greek gods, however, according to myth, Artemis was the hunting and moon godess. She lived unmarried for all her years. She had a faithful group of huntresses who aided her in her hunts. The girls were all aged around thirteen and they had artemis' blessing. They had eternal youth and were not allowed around men often.
