Did every Pharoah build a pyramid?

The claim that Khufu built a pyramid appears to be a forgery. Nothing at all is known about who built any Egyptian pyramid. No Egyptian pyramid was a tomb. However, pyramids in other parts of Africa usually were tombs.

That part is unknown but
 The ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for the pharaohs and their queens. The pharaohs were buried in pyramids of many different shapes and sizes from before the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the end of the Middle Kingdom. 
It was to prepare for the next world.
