I'm not at college any more and have attended both college and university (which some people call college). For my college, which I attended at age sixteen, it was next door to my house. I left the gates of my college and then was only ten feet from my house,
For my university, I would walk to the train station which served the university, take a train to my closest city, then either take another train to a large town which was a suburb of the city, and a bus to the small town which was a suburb of the larger town. Or I would take a bus which travelled through the small town (closer than the large town). Or I would get a train to the northern part of the small town (I lived in the central part) and walk a couple of miles to the centre of the small town where I lived. Occasionally, I would walk from the city to the small town (an eight mile walk).
