if you live in the state of tenn and you are now getting a divorce and the husband has ran up about 80 thousand dollars or more of dept in his name how do that affect the wife and the husband

If the debt is in his name alone and IF the wife did not benefit in any way, shape or form from items purchased through the creation of the debt then she should not be liable for any portion of it. HOWEVER if she did benefit or in any way encouraged or caused or abeited the creation of the debt then she may be liable.
For example:
If the husband bought a sports car for personal use which she also used then she is partially liable.
If the husband created the debt to pay household bills then she is liable.
If the husband created the debt to pay his gambling bills then she is NOT liable.
