Dell support assist won't let me exit out. No exit button. How do I get access to my computer?

Hello. I have a inspiron 20 3052 from Dell. I'm having some technical difficulties with Dell support assist. Last week one day Dell support assist popped up not allowing me to exit. Telling me to click the exit button is not an option due to it not having one. The only option it gives me is the "shutdown" button. That has no use for me though. Does anyone have a possible solution to get rid of this error that is accruing? If pictures are needed just ask and I'll put them up right away.
