Ctrl + F and other shortcuts aren't working on my computer?

Thanks, this might be it... but...

It says "The update is not applicable to your computer". I chose the right version: Win7 86x

I have win 7 32bit

Thanks for your help but unfortunately none of this helped. I have a feeling that switching the keyboard would help.. but I can't do that since this is my work computer.

Any other suggestions or will I just have to get used to it?

1st try: Try the combination on this website.

Alternative:

2nd try: Try all those combinations in Safe mode.
Google "Safe mode in windows 7" For help in safe mode.

3rd try:
There is a utility in Microsoft that detects and fixes your problem.
Goto:
windows.microsoft(.)com/en-in/windows-vista/troubleshoot-keyboard-problems

This should do the trick.
Else you'll have to change your keyboard. No other option.
