First.....my son is an adult. He has already received a temporary restraining order against this creepoid but they can't serve it to him because he never leaves his basement. He's having friends of his drive by my son's house, his work and his friend's house. He's made bogus complaints to CPS about my son's girlfriend and her kids, he's a very weird unstable creepy little dude. Apparently my son said something he took offense at .. no one knows exactly what was said, or how it offended him.. but he announced that my son had 5 days to leave town or he was going to make his life a living hell. So far, since the restraining order was granted, they have contacted him 3 times.. but the police say they can't do anything until he is served with the papers

Maybe you should find out what your son said to him or did. It must have been something personal. I wouldn't feel threatened by a nerdy gamer anyway, unless he's violent and may have a weapon. I would think the police would be able to serve him the papers at his workplace or have someone wait outside his house, he can't stay in his basement forever.
You can't get him 2 stop.
Only the police can stop.
FEAR is the driving factor in all of this.
So relax, act like it doesn't bother u (drive-bys, etc)
Ask the police 2 continue trying 2serve him.
Has yr son stopped going 2that site? If not do so.
Go stop with a friend 4 awhile.
It will clear up +the guy go eventually.
My opinion.
stalkers are difficult to fight. this guy cowards behind his friends and in his basement. i think the only way to stop this is by ignoring him. i know that doesn't always work. i've tried thinking about other ways but i don't know much about these situations.
these are some websites that i think will help.
legaldictionary.thefreedictionary.com/how to stop a stalker
2. stopmystalker.com
3. stopyourstalker.com
i think the best site is the first one i listed.
