So I messaged my cousin on whatsapp, just saying hi. He then responded with hi, babe what you doing? With a kissy face emoticon. He is my 2nd cousin and I am a little shocked. Even being a 2nd cousin is really weird to me and I have no idea how to respond to his message. Please help

Its possible he was talking to someone else made a mistake and called you that or he has feelings for you which i don't really see.I would just ask him what he meant by that then you'll get some type of conversation it could also mean that he was joking about it.You could also ask him if he was aware of what he said see what he says how he will answer the question.
