Could you possibly survive in a fridges inside with negative celcius temperatures outside?

Yes. You could. A fridge is very well insulated. As long as it wasn't plugged in, your body heat would warm up the interior quite nicely. You would certainly last longer than out in the freezing cold. Ventilation would be a problem, but as long as you cracked the door every 5 hours or so, you wouldn't even begin to suffocate.
Ever hear that phrase, "As much use as a refrigerator at the North Pole"? Well, it's crap!
In almost every list of “what you can do to reduce your environmental impact” you will find the item “lower your thermostat setting”. This of course refers to the thermostat that controls the temperature of your home. However, there are other thermostats in your home that hardly ever make it onto such lists but have an equally important impact. The rest of this article deals by means of adjusting fridge, freezer, and deep freeze thermostats.
