Could somebody tell me what causes this problem and any advice to solve it?

Hello, my TV has a problem. The display shows two black vertical stripes of about 4 cm. Could somebody tell me what causes this problem and any advice to solve it? I have a GRUNKEL TVG42.

You should check the connection lower belts and look for components no soldering. do you have any experience on electronics repairing ? If you need a tech service I can recommend but they work in Jacksonville FL, you should search a similar service near your home.

Happened to me in Dallas on all TVs in house but stripes colored.Came from outside interference from unknown source prior to digital conv box.the change to digital removed that problem but left a far worse with the nightmare of trying to watch by converter box which does not work 90% of time.Your prob may be that or TV needs repair.Call a repair shop & get their advice
