Could somebody come up with a phrase or sentence that smoothly introduces a solution to a problem I already mentioned. Some examples are: " because... the tanks had to move swiftly and quietly-THAT'S WHEN ....CAME INTO PLAY." The capitalized words are how I usually lead the discussion to the topic I want to talk about. Is there any other way to say this?( the context I use it in is different than the example.)

One of my favorites is "Now, you gotta know ... tanks don't move quietly."
Variation: "Now I hope it's obvious that tanks don't move quietly. That's why ..."
Gag: "Of course tanks in motion sound like a road scraper race. So what we do is ..."
You need to read novels. Lots of novels. Any novels. Notice that they all have perfect spelling, perfect punctuation, perfect composition. Notice where they use one space and where they use two. Notice that every speaker in a dialog gets a new paragraph, and every paragraph is preceded by a blank line. Notice any writing techniques or figures of speech. Take notes so you know where you found what you know. It takes a lot of reading to be a writer.
