I want to play my melodica (a musical wind instrument with a keyboard) out in the rain without ruining it. How susceptible are they to rain damage? Are there usually any metal parts that might rust? Would it dry on the inside? Perhaps I could cover it with some sort of protective plastic? I'd like to know what insights melodica owners have on this matter, especially if you've ever tried playing it in a watery environment. Thank you.
