... I baked a pie and discovered later I had left a Teflon saucepan in the oven which smelled up the house. Should we eat the pie? Does Teflon produce a chemical when heated to 425 degrees in the oven, which would poison the pie?

Teflon was suppose to be a good thing it let cleaning the pan easier to clean if the pan got damaged in any way meaning the Teflon came off this would mean it wouldn't be very tasty what was the smell the pan I don't think I would risk eating the pie if the Teflon came out of the pan and damaged it
