I'm 19 and I am currently dating a guy who is 22. I have had multiple relationships in the past but they weren't successful... so i stopped believing in my instinct :( hope you guys can help.
He's always been saying how I'm an extremely kind girl and when I told him about my past experiences, he said that he would try his very best to make sure that none of it would happen to me again. When I was upset, he would drop everything to see me and make sure that I'm alright. He's never the one who says that he has to go even when it's really late at night, when we're out together. In the beginning, I thought we're just really in sync and that he probably didn't feel anything. However, as we were watching a film together last week, he let me rest my head on his shoulder, wrapped my hands in his and kissed my forehead and cheek. I was quite surprised when he did that, but he stopped doing that and I thought it might be a one off thing for him. Then, when we were at a jazz bar together, he did that again and this time he didn't let go even when we left, and when we met up again, he did the same thing.
After we went out yesterday, we were just texting and we talked about things like long distance. He said very quickly that he thinks that long distance can work and I didn't even ask about that. He also offered to take a leave from work on my results day to keep me company and support me. But then today he sent me a link to the song 'i like you, you're nice' and said 'it's just like you haha :)', when the lyrics says that 'But we wouldn't have all that we have Let's never know and just be friends'... so what does that even mean?
