Compare Christian and muslim attitudes towards the relationship between faith and reason? Thx?

You can not understand a religion if you don't believe it; by definition it makes no sense. The best you can do is to compare ceremonies.

Faith is belief: one Greek word is translated both ways. Believing is a natural ability, but the bible says faith comes by Jesus Christ. That defines two contexts: the natural ability to believe, and the spiritually augmented ability to believe powered by the holy spirit. That is why things that Christians consider obvious are casually dismissed by non-Christians. They are simply unable to believe such subtle things. For example, non-Christians inquire about life after death. Christians see that as a repetition of the serpent's lie to Eve, "Ye shall not surely die." Then the non-Christians laugh and say "Oh, you're getting religious now."

Bottom line: There are some cultural differences in the subject, but they are not "Christian attitudes" versus "Muslim attitudes". They are American attitudes versus middle eastern attitudes.
