Also, my doctor prescribed to me bictrim DS because I have been having symptoms such as bloody discharge and sometimes odor. Will the bictrum work for that, or the azithromycin?

Diseases, viruses, and bacteria is ever so evolving and adapting to treatments, back in the day a shot of penicillin was able to cure most std's out there but they began to evolve and grow immune to the antibiotic. Best advice I can offer is to continue your doctor prescribed treatment to the letter. Don't go off self diagnosing , self treating, or dose modifying without your doctors say so, you may get a few doctors answers on here, but I highly recommend to stick with your personal doctors recommendation. These things take time to cure, not everyone is the same.
You can also take some natural herbal medicine such as diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill or other medication made from inartificial ingredients, so there is no side effects or drug resistance, basically antibiotics does not work for a long time and does not cure from root cause.
