I bought 4 yards of this fantastic fabric at an estate sale. The only marking is CHIBARO printed on the selvedge. It is an open weave fabric with this wild design resembling paint strokes in hot pink, blue and yellow and black on a white background. Not sure of the age or what this fabric is called. Any ideas? Is there a way to post a pic.

Chibalo or chibaro is a Portuguese term refering to forced labor in colonies and especially in Rhodesia. It is also a surname of several people. Here are some links of interest:
