for a week or a week and a half I've started jogging and running on an elliptical, today I did about 20 minutes and took a rest to get some water, I did have a sip of an energy shot about two hours before I started exercising and yesterday I had a little bit also. I'm usually not effected by energy drinks like redbull and 5hr. But I'm wondering if I should stop having energy drinks now that I've taken up running and jogging because I haven't had any problems until today.

P.S. I was also born with a heart condition, my doctor said it wouldn't hold me back from doing anything like running, jogging or hiking etc. after I had surgery to get it repaired when I was little.
