I want to be an All-Star cheerleader so badly! My parents don't let me though, but I have to persuade them somehow. There is a camp in the winter that I really want to attend, but it is so pricey! And worse, I don't have any gymnastics or tumbling experience. AND I'm not flexible. Please help!!! :'(

I know this isn't helping you answer your question at all, but you may actually be lucky... I attended a $200 seminar recently where this highly regarded physical therapist whom specializes on rotator cuff injures said that almost all his clients are softball players and cheerleaders in their teen years!!! If you aren't that flexible, and you also have to have great strength and balance plus timing, then it is very likely you would end up injuring yourself pretty bad... it might be better to spend time developing the same tools that you would need without incorporating the strain of actually performing until you are more developed and then you can really set your sights on achieving what you desire without anyone else holding you back...
Like I said, that may not have been very helpful but I still hope you will consider what I have said... Good luck, whatever you chose to do (I have a feeling you will be needing it either way). :)
