My fiancé received an orange slip saying he missed a certified letter from the IRS. Prior to this slip he received nothing from them besides his returns. He was told he didn't owe in and he wouldn't get audited. He also filed on time. Is it possible that he was audited? Or is it maybe nothing to worry about since there was no prior contact?
