Okay, so I have a long-haired, black cat that I got from a friend around 2 years ago. She's always been skittish and afraid of everything, and since we have 4 dogs, she lives in our basement. Up until now, she's been perfectly toilet trained. Occasionally she would vomit, but I've been told that that is natural cat behavior. Recently, however, she has begun defecating in the house. Part of the reason for this may be because we recently had 2 young girls staying with us, and they loved to chase the cat, which made it very nervous. Anyway, does anyone have any idea why she defecates in the house, or how to prevent it? My mother thinks we should get rid of her, and although it is a great cat, I may have to agree, if we can't find a solution. I would put her outside, however she is declawed and would not fare well outdoors. Any help, as always, is appreciated, thanks!

your cat are in culture shock.. actually this is normal behavior.. cat are very scared to
what you should do is, just keep your cat in basement, get your 2 young girls cloth ( please make this cloth are not wash yet ), put aside near with your cat. after 3 days, get another cloth and put near to your cat..
after a week, you can try see whether your cat come back to normal or not.. it should take about 2 or 3 week.
if not, your cat got some trauma problem.. please check with vet doctor for further check up.
