I'm 17 and I still don't know what I want to major in. I want to be in art related but I don't know which careers are still growing for a chance for me to get a job. My parents say that graphic design is not going to grow or few people actually get jobs.
Plz tell me a description so ik what its about.

If you like art, I would have you look into the design field. It could be anything with design, even concept design, weather you're designing cars, aircraft, propulsion systems, computers or video games etc. You're making something that is not only beautiful but has a purpose rather than just hanging on a wall.
But the design field in general is difficult. You need to stand out of the crowd, and be competitive. I was and still am very interested in architecture design, like designing floor plans, but now I'm an aviation fanatic and love designing propulsion systems and aircraft. But as I said, anything in design and development is going to require very hard work and discipline and dedication. I don't want to discourage you because design can be a very rewarding field. But make sure you can do it first.
I would also have you look into engineering technology.
