At one point, I was overworked, stressed and struggling to keep up. Shortly, new guy was hired. I was glad. But over the time, I had barely anything to do as most people worked with the new guy. I think I made a blunder even asking for help. Now, according tot eh grapevine, more layoffs might happen. In that case, I am the easiest target. I am stressed, nervous, miserable, dissatisfied and feel like an eternal loser. I have more in-depth industry knowledge and experience and still work on the largest accounts but maybe the new kid has more people skills or maybe he is just good. I probably lack something and I want to get out of this misery and dissatisfaction. What can I do to recover from this situation?
