My 1996 tacoma toyota pickup doesn't want to start when the temperature outside reaches 88 degrees or higher. What is causing this problem. Any advice could be helpful. college bound

Im thinking initial carburation mix.
Like the choke flap is going shut as if the motor is cold to get it started. But its not so the air fuel mixture is wrong.
a test; Pull the breather. Stick a screwdriver in the carb to hold the choke open.
Try to start it. Better?
If so. You might just disconnect it and hold it open in the summer. But you will need to reconnect it for cold starting.
